Every page in Finance App has a full set of meta tags:
<title>and<meta name="description">- Open Graph tags for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Slack previews
- Twitter Card tags for X previews
- Canonical URLs
These are generated from the page’s frontmatter, so you fill them in once and they appear everywhere.
Sitemap
The theme generates a sitemap automatically. Search engines use it to find and index every page on your site.
No configuration needed. Just build the site and the sitemap appears.
RSS feed
An RSS feed is generated for blog articles. Readers can subscribe, and feed aggregators can pick up your content.
Clean URLs
Astro generates clean URLs by default. /blog/my-post/ instead of /blog/my-post.html.
Clean URLs rank better and look better in search results.
Fast Core Web Vitals
SEO is not just metadata. Google also ranks based on how fast and stable your pages are.
Astro’s static output keeps Core Web Vitals scores high:
- LCP — fast because HTML is static
- CLS — low because images have width and height
- INP — low because JavaScript is minimal
What you need to configure
Two things:
- Set
siteinastro.config.mjsto your production URL. - Fill in
titleanddescriptionin each page’s frontmatter.
